Getting Started

Install the Mavster macOS app

Download Mavster, drag it to Applications, and grant the permissions it asks for on first launch.

Mavster ships as a standalone macOS app. Installation is a single drag-to-Applications, then a one-time pass through System Settings to grant the permissions Mavster needs to drive your simulator.

Download and install

  1. Download the latest Mavster build from the link your account email points to (or the Mavster website if you signed up directly).
  2. Open the downloaded .dmg.
  3. Drag Mavster.app into the Applications folder.
  4. Eject the disk image.

First launch

Open Mavster from Applications. macOS will ask you to confirm an app downloaded from the internet — click Open.

On first launch Mavster will request:

  • Accessibility — so it can control simulator windows during runs.

  • Automation — so it can communicate with the Simulator app on your behalf.

  • Screen & System Audio Recording — so it can see the simulator's screen during runs.

  • Local Network — so it can discover paired physical iOS and Android devices over Bonjour.

Each prompt opens System Settings → Privacy & Security. Toggle Mavster on in the matching list. If you miss a prompt or want to verify, see macOS permissions for the exact paths.

Mavster on first launch with the macOS permission prompt visible. Show the Accessibility prompt and the System Settings → Privacy & Security pane with Mavster toggled on.
